Attention to all customers:
When ordering from the on-line store there is some shipping information that you must be aware of. Any product that is ordered and requested to be delivered on a Saturday runs the chance of not arriving or not being there on time, due to trucking company/delivering and the holiday season. Also, when ordering for delivery on a Saturday realize the cost is approximately $20-$30 more than if received on Friday. When ordering we have no control over the weather and if the delivery company stops working/ suggests that we should not ship that day or your package gets stuck in one location due to bad weather we are sorry for the inconvenience. If ordering items to be shipped, you the purchaser are responsible for the item once it leaves A&J Bakery. We are not responsible for the item arriving to your home and looking like someone sat on it. We take all precaution to prevent that with labels on the boxes but that is in the end the shipping company’s responsibility. We as a company will try to get every product that you pay for to you on the desired date and all in one piece. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with how the product arrives to you or if it arrives late please contact us for further instructions on how to go from there. Our company policy is that if something arrives damaged due to shipping (damaged box) then you must take it up with the shipping company. If the incorrect items are received then the whole order needs to be resent to the bakery address and you will be credited for your order total once we receive the items. Claims must be made within 7 days or receiving the product. We do not issue call tags(you are responsible for the items being shipped back to the store if there is any issues.) ** We can ship to Canada but all customers must place their orders over the phone. No on-line orders are accepted to Canada. *** Attention Nut, Egg & Dairy Free Customers: We can guarantee that our facility is a dedicated nut free one. But, we do our best to produce our products in a sterile environment free from egg and dairy. Unfortunately we do produce products that contain egg and dairy in and on the same equipment/utensils that the egg and dairy free are made. We do our best to clean and sanitize the equipment and utensils so that they can be free of these proteins. We do not guarantee that the product that you get will be egg and dairy free (meaning that there could be a chance). Again, we do our best to make sure that does not happen. We also, do not on a daily basis check to see that our manufactures have not changed in the past six months to year their handling of chocolates and other items. Please be advised that if you have any concerns then we would suggest that you do not take the chance.
